The Beer Discussion Bar > Trying to Stick with American Beer.

Getting harder. Can't drink Coors, Miller, Budweiser, or the dozens of other brands scooped up by suspicious looking foreigners.

But as we hear all the time, hope (and change) is on the horizon! Yuengling (all American) bought the Stroh's brewery in Tampa a while back, and is doing well here. I'm helping right now, as I sample a bottle of their Dark Brewed Porter.

Between Yuengling and Boston Beer (Sam Adams), there is wide distribution of some pretty fair non-micro beer that's made by Americans in America at companies owned by Americans.

Boycott the furriners! Up the Yank beer!
