Old Monkeyshine at Nimbus Brewery here in Tucson. A nice healthy 8%, one imperial pint usually does it for and/or too me.

GREAT NEWS-er I think-well maybe not so great-it,s now cheaper by the gallon for my favorite beer-Milwaukees worst ice beer than it it is for a gallon of unleaded regular-I currently pay 12.99 for a 30 pack F.W.I.W.

Somehow it seems fitting to compare Old Smellwaukee to gasoline.
<grin>

But I remember college (way back in the dark ages) when we poor students could get a case of longneck Old Mil for $2.00 and change with bottle return. Yes, children, back in the olden days beer bottles were returnable.

have you guys noticed a rapid rise in Fat Tire being served on draft in your area... it seems to be everyhwere here as of late.... a bitter-sweet feeling for me due to the fact that it's replaced alot of GREAT beers (like Smithwick's, Bent River and many many more micro-brews) that were formerly served.

Oh well... either way I'll drink the shit out of it!

I recently tried Peroni, an Italian import. Most Italian beers leave me a bit cold, but Peroni is a light pilsner that has just the right edge of hoppy taste for a "change of pace" beer.

This isn't one I'd buy by the case, but it's a pretty good "cleanse your palate" beer when you're spending the evening at a bar. (I'm one of those beer lovers who'll sample 8-10 different beers in the course of an evening.)

I'd give it a strong C+...as long as we're talking about very cold draft Peroni. I wasn't as impressed with the bottled variety.
