Okay...

the Good News:

All 6:05 start times the next 3 games...  SHOULD be able to see them.

the Bad News:    Due to a Funeral...  I may miss one...  dare i say 2    Dying from the heat.

but let me sum it up for you:

1)  1 bought a broom (sweeeeep!!)

2)  portable walkman gets 1170 am

3)  i have Wine ...   lots and lots of wine

I hate funerals....     I wish I could tell you all "see ya' Monday!  I'm off to Wrigley!!'     Unfortunately....    that isn't the case.

The wife's stepdad's dad (so no, we weren't all that close and no, i  wasn't sitting on his knee way back when) passed yesterday morning.    i honestly never got to really know him...  but the sake of it all i'm going to state that that old man was a pretty kick@$$ inlaw....    you just had to hold his hand and remind him of it every few minutes or so after he'd forget (or fall asleep).     The guy was great...  he just couldn't remember who the hell anybody was (even his own grandkids).     I actually made it a point to wear the same shirt EVERYTIME we visited for the holidays, birthdays, and random getogethers so he'd remember me.. ..   and then I usually brought a TON of wine or booze and just got the old guy hammered!    Almost everytime I saw the guy I was pouring him another.   (At least I know THAT guy liked me!)

But trust me....   don't let that get you thinking i won't be hunting down some WGN or ComCast or Fox Sports or WHATEVER damn channel is carrying it...     Any requests Red....  as a Cubs fan?   i've got an idea of what I'm going to do with this page....   anything unique you'd like me to add?!
