Reliving a Time Lost

Opera Warm-up, Part I

I plan to be moving to a new format now that I am doing only the Sunday spot here in Music, and though today's layout is not quite  the one I have in mind,  it does provide me  the opportunity to clear the inventory of songs I've collected over the past few weeks and months. They are all good tunes,  but did not get shown for one reason or another. The genres span from techno, indie, pop, folk, romantic, electronic, standard rock, to light punk.

We're going to start off with a gentle lament from the past before moving into the modern age of folk, electronics, and rock. This song is performed by Rina Ketty is our only oldie for the day. It is titled L'hirondelle d'amour:

The schedule for today is a long one: 8:30, 9, 9:30, 10, 11, and 11:30 am (est); 12 noon; 1, 2, 3, 3:30, 4, 5, 6, 6:30, and 7 pm. Sunday Oldies and Punk Hour will return early in the new year.
