80's Extravaganza Part II

Back when MTV was in its infancy there were a few artists who set the tone for what music videos would become.  Michael Jackson was certainly the king of videos in the early 80s but Duran Duran wasn't far behind.   Interesting thing about Duran Duran is that while at the height of their fame they were almost known as the biggest boy band in the world, but as the split in the 80s came between alternative music and pop music, they were almost completely disowned by the mainstream, and those who went on to become big fans of alternative music to this day have Duran Duran as a closet favorite.  From 1981's Rio album comes The Chauffeur...   (An unembeddable link to the great though censored music video is here)

While best known for their heyday in the early to mid 80s after a brief pause to work on the side projects Arcadia and Power Station, the band continued on in the late 80s and early 90s short a couple of members to put out some of their best music.  From 1986's album of the same name, here is Notorious...
