For fans of the books, you'll soon be satisfied by The Weathered Underground, a high tech version of the old classic books that allowed you to choose the plot. I simply cannot wait to check this out:

The story follows 21-year-old Eric (the character whom the audience makes choices for) as he deals with a skull crunching breakup. Eric is a struggling musician who works a side job and just broke up with the greatest love of his life, the somewhat insane yet adorable Liz (Brea Grant, Heroes, H2). Now you, the viewer, must guide Eric through one insane evening with Criminals, Drugs and Damsels while deciding whether Eric will win back the love of his life or crumble into Moral Decay...

His fate is now in your hands...

The Weathered Underground allows the viewer via remote control or mouse (online) to control the story ultimately choosing a story of redemption or debauchery. Featuring over 30 different endings and 1,000 choices. The film can be played/viewed for up to four hours, over and over without getting the same plot line!

So, there's this new ale in Australia...and, as producers of new products are wont to do, the brewers secured the services of an advertising agency. Well, the advertising agency apparently pitched the idea of "Anything But Sweet" for this new raspberry ale. So far, so good - but then the advertising agency apparently went somewhere you just don't go...

Yes, that's right; they decided to hijack Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Of course, they couldn't keep those cutesy old names, so allow me to introduce to you these alter egos of the figures from your childhood:

Long story short - the site for the ad campaign is not only gone, but already replaced by what appears to be a domain squatter. The ad agency's site has been scrubbed of all references to the campaign, and I'm guessing that one LARGE copyright infringement action is being dropped on their collective heads.

The return of the Movies/TV section. Apologies for the lack of posting here, but I have been so swamped at work lately it's been slowly securing it's place on the back burner... just one step ahead of the Sports Bar.

I've been craving a vacation, and pricing out trips to Vegas, so this Friday Movie blog featuring one of my favorite movies, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (R), seem like the perfect fix for Friday.
