State of the Union

Should be entertaining, with yet another Kennedy [yawn] crawling out of the woodwork to give the Socialist Workers Party rebuttal.  Can Maxine Waters be far behind?

The link below is an article from an online publication called Insurance Journal, about a judge's outlandish award of damages.

One illustration of everything that is wrong with the legal system.

That's ridiculous, Duff. Part of the problem is the sorry state of jury selection. Courts allow lawyers to challenge jurors without cause, or on silly challenges. I was dismissed from a jury pool because I refused to agree with the lawyer for the plaintiff when he challenged me with the highly prejudicial statement that pain and suffering judgements are never misused. In other words, the plaintiff was guaranteed a jury biased in her favor before the case was ever heard. The system is broken.

I was selected for a jury once and every aspect of the experience was disturbing.

Judge refused to punish those prospective jurors who didn't show up. 3 names of no-shows were called before mine in the lottery draw to choose the jury pool.

Some of the jurors waited a whopping 30 seconds in the jury room before completely violating the judge's instructions. But we sent a wife-beater to wife-beater jail, so that was good.

Funniest part was a crazy juror who literally begged to be voted the jury foreman, then later complained about having to sign their name on the guilty verdict.

For all of the lies the Russian's tried to use to encourage discord, none were as egregious an outright lie as the one Dingy Harry Reid told from the floor of the United State Senate:
Word is out that Mitt Romney has not paid any taxes in 10 years.

So Mueller has indicted 13 Russians for 2016 U.S. election interference. Why wasn't the Russians who provided bogus intelligence to Fat Hilda for the express purpose of smearing Trump and "disrupting our Democratic process" indicted? Couldn't get a Demwit on the Sunday talk shows to touch that one with a 10-foot pole..

Only a crime if it is against a Dem. Same as it ever was....

Dems saying Russian propaganda tainted the 2016 election against Hillary. No mention of the Russian AntiTrump rallies.
Hmmm.
Michael Moore and thousands others were duped by BlackMatters 11/12/17 NYC . ROTFLMFAO.
Call Maxwell Smart. KAOS is on the loose.

I hear that Trump is endorsing Mitt Romney. On what basis? Because Mitt needs a consolation prize after screwing the pooch in the 2012 election? Because we don't have enough RINOs in Congress? Good grief.

So the left is putting up signs that say “Kill the NRA” but denies this means kill NRA members. Would they feel the same if conservatives put up signs that say “Kill the NAACP” but would stand for denials that this didn’t mean kill African-Americans?
