He’s not known as “Dick the Weasel Durbin” for nothing....

January 17, 2018 at 11:47 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Dicky Durbin says "Shithole" is the worst thing ever said in the White House. I know the family of Lyndon Johnson finally breathed a sigh of relief that Lyndon's reference in the 1964 Civil Rights legislation to MLK as that "N*gger" and the NAACP as a group of left-wing "N*ggers" is off the hook. I think it pained The Hill when they brought this up.. I wonder of Dicky's African-American constituents in Illinois agree "Shithole" is the worst thing ever said in the White House?

Leftie priorities, screwed up as usual. Instead of focusing on the real issue in that meeting (DACA, illegals, etc.) the shameful leftie Dems are trying to make one rude comment the issue. And with the compliant and DNC-subservient media on their side, it's working.

January 17, 2018 at 13:52 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

By the way, hello Winston. Always good to see one of your erudite comments. Those student loans have really helped your composition skills.

January 17, 2018 at 13:56 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Shhh. Ignore it and it will go away.

January 17, 2018 at 16:31 | Unregistered Commentergriswold3

It never goes away. It just hides behind the drapes. But I can still see the toes of its shoes.

Apple has announced it will bring back overseas profits that will incur a $38 billion dollar tax to the treasury that would not have happened if not for the tax cut in 2017. Of course the CBO using their trusty +/- 15% either way budgeting accuracy scored profits returning at 21% vs. 39.5% as a complete deficit drag. You see 39.5% of nothing to the CBO is still more than 21% of something.

Of note due to the new tax bill Apple will invest in 20k new jobs and invest $350 billion in the U.S. over the next five years. Reached for comment Nancy Pelosi called this 'Armageddon' and 'Pathetic.'

January 18, 2018 at 11:21 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Historically, the CBO has never believed Private Sector spending has more benefit than Government spending.
Incentives for small business investment and corporate tax cuts have been considered less cost effective. Food stamps and unemployment benefits are touted as more effective ways to stimulate the economy as these monies are immediately spent.
The current effects of tax reform have destroyed ALL of their theories. Buy APPL
Rooting for Apple's second corporate campus to come to Columbus, OH 20,000 jobs with good pay rather than Obama's baristas.

January 18, 2018 at 18:03 | Unregistered Commentergriswold3

You mean Amazon? IowaHawk says one of the benefits of choosing Columbus, OH is Amazon employees can dot the “I” in Ohio during football Saturday’s.

January 18, 2018 at 18:48 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

"Apple Announcement of second campus May set off Amazon HQ2 like scramble among cities"- from
Sorry I assumed a bit too much.

January 18, 2018 at 19:34 | Unregistered Commentergriswold3

Apple expanding outside of Silicon Valley would be healthy although some say their Austin, TX presence already constitutes a second campus the insular nature of the valley I think stifles innovation. Apple should either buy Twitter or start up their own social media DM platform using Apple apps and technology.

Well we’ve gone in a year from “It was Russian collusion that caused ‘Fat Hilda’ to lose the election” by the media to TV quack MD’s calling the WH doctor a political tool and just invoke the 25th amendment. Stay classy demwits.

January 18, 2018 at 20:28 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Well the four page memo conducted by the House Intelligence committee on the Trump dossier and reviewed by Dems and Republicans all but acknowledges "President Shit Show" had a hand in FISA warrants on Trump and his staff. I thought it was illegal to use federal law enforcement for political reasons? Secondly; Glenn Simpson admitted in his testimony that was released that he went to the press with details of the dossier to help Fat Hilda's campaign...But oh' let's have a Special Prosecutor investigate Trump....

January 19, 2018 at 11:37 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Adam Schiiff, chief obfuscator for the disreputable House dems, is feverishly spinning, trying to diminish the importance of this memo before it is released. He clearly knows that it's a mountain of trouble for Crooked Hillary and her filthy deep state allies. Time for some popcorn.

January 19, 2018 at 12:12 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Looks like the un-American lefties are really in cahoots with their illegal alien compadres, and have proven it by shutting down the government. Trying to protect criminal aliens at the expense of American citizens should get every one of the political left kicked out of office.

January 20, 2018 at 09:42 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

DACA is NOT a budget issue. Dems are losing their minds

January 20, 2018 at 19:45 | Unregistered Commentergriswold3

So on one front the FBI text messages from agents knew Fat Hilda would definitely not be charged before Comey’s July announcement. This positively identifies the fix was in yet today now the FBI announces ‘other’ txt messages concerning Fat Hilda have been “lost.” These “lost” txt messages must be doozy’s.

January 21, 2018 at 16:45 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

"The dog ate the text messages."

Someone call a 7th grader to list other lame excuses.

I saw "Zombieland." Never realized it was a documentary, Duff.

Concerning the FISA memo; funny how when things look bad for demwits there are no leaks? Over a week now and specifics on the memo have stayed under wraps and demwits are fighting it's release; you know the party of transparency...It's coming out and my gut tells me:

1). Lynch instructed Comey to not prosecute Hilda from political pressure by Obama.
2). FBI agents at the direction of the DOJ did their best to frame Trump with the dossier.
3). There's been a cover-up and a coordinated destruction of evidence at the DOJ and FBI for over a year.
4). Comey is in on the frame-up and cover-up.
5). Hilda was kept in the loop the whole time and made 'suggestions' to the FBI on Trump.

We'll learn more but this is just the beginning.. My guess Flynn, Manafort and Papa will see what their legal options are against Mueller. Flynn should retract his guilty plea and tell Mueller's investigators FU.. Manafort will try to have his charges dismissed due to the fruit of the poison tree doctrine. Papa; the stupid one who goes into FBI criminal Q&A's without an attorney may also try to have his guilty plea thrown out..

January 22, 2018 at 11:43 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Dem cover-up artist Rep Adam Schiff is at it again, frantically trying to negate the effects of the secret memo before it gets released, saying that we citizens are simply too stupid to understand what it means.

Duhhh... yeah... we little people ain't got no smarts, an' we'uns need Demycrates to tell us'ns how to reed an' such.

The smell of leftie desperation lies heavy in the air today.

January 24, 2018 at 10:09 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Well we learned today that the Trump Dossier was used by the Obama DOJ and taken to the FISA Court for survelience on Trump. The same dossier that the FBI can’t confirm even 10% is true. No FISA judge would issue a a FISA survelience warrant on something that’s 90% wrong at best. The inference is the (Obama DOJ) got the survelience warrant and lied on particulars or ‘the declaration’ you use to take to the court to get the survelience. Who took that declaration to the FISA court; Peter Strzok.. Who worked with him in the Obama DOJ; Loretta Lynch. You think Obama was out of the loop on what his Attorney General was up to with Trump?... Lying to a federal judge; especially a FISA court judge is jail time in a federal penitentiary...

Libs tell me where I’m wrong?

"Scientists at the University of Manchester have found a surprising global warming culprit – sandwiches. In the first study of its kind, the researchers carried out an in-depth audit of various sandwiches throughout their life cycles and found the triangular meals could be responsible for the equivalent annual carbon emissions of 8.6 million cars in Britain alone."

No the above paragraph did not come from The Onion. This is the level of hysterical stupid the left has sunk to today. Further down in the article they call for a "World Meat Tax" to battle CO2 emissions from the production of meat...I suspect by Friday this will be a plank in the Demwit tool kit for their glorious political resurgence in 2018..

Justice Robert H. Jackson quotes:
If the prosecutor is obliged to choose his case, it follows that he can choose his defendants. Therein is the most dangerous power of the prosecutor: that he will pick people he thinks he should get, rather than cases that need to be prosecuted. With the law books filled with a great assortment of crimes, a prosecutor stands a fair chance of finding at least a technical violation of some act on the part of almost anyone. In such a case, it is not a question of discovering the commission of a crime and then looking for the man who has committed it, it is a question of picking the man and then searching the law books, or putting investigators to work, to pin some offense on him. It is in this realm -- in which the prosecutor picks some person whom he dislikes or desires to embarrass, or selects some group of unpopular persons and then looks for an offense, that the greatest danger of abuse of prosecuting power lies. It is here that law enforcement becomes personal, and the real crime becomes that of being unpopular with the predominant or governing group, being attached to the wrong political views, or being personally obnoxious to or in the way of the prosecutor himself

I think it’s clear we’ve found the “last honest man in government” and it’s IG Horowitz. He’s found the ‘missing FBI txt’s.’ Also late last year Chairman Grassley asked for information that was substantive, voluminous and serious to FBI inner workings from IG Horowitz. This was the time when the DOJ and FBI were stone walking Grassley for month or ignoring him completely on information requests. The task sent to the IG Horowitz would have taken either the FBI or DOJ years to complete at the rate they were going. IG Horowitz responded with everything Grassley requested with notations in SIX DAYS! Grassley was blown away.. So hat tip to IG Horowitz, truly the last honest man in government.

With the talk of "the memo" and the recovery of the text messages looming ominously over their heads, the Dems and their media allies are going nuts trying to change the subject. The attempts are failing, however. Dems look like a dog who buried a bone to hide it, then goes to sit right on top of the spot.

January 26, 2018 at 07:12 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

NO worries! The Dems will just put out their OWN memo. Their sycophants and myrmidons will all make the 'Progressive' propaganda goes Front Page.

January 26, 2018 at 13:01 | Unregistered Commentergriswold3

The Dems who are always reliably tone deaf I.e that “$1,000 bonus is ‘pathetic’ and ‘scraps’ “ has announced their counter to Trump for the SOTU speech. A Kennedy. Yes The Godfather’s of the #MeToo movement the Kennedy’s who who booze, do hard drugs, assault women, kills them with strangulation, leave them at the bottom of the bay in cars when their hammered for political reasons is the demwits SOTU rebuttal choice. And they think 2018 is their come back year? BWa, Ha, BWa, Ha, Ha **wipes tears of laughter** Ha, Ha, BWa,BWa.
