Investigating Flynn - A Double-edged Sword

Looks like the House will be probing the whole Russia/Flynn/leaks fiasco.  One target of the investigation will be Obama's DOJ/FBI staff.  The leaks violated federal law, and someone (or multiple someones) at the DOJ, the NSA, or the CIA is guilty as hell.

Go ahead, you leftie screamers.  You go right ahead and "get" Flynn.  But you probably won't like the fallout.

A day later, and no Winston to explain how Flynn was a huge security risk and Trump was a moron for not firing him earlier. I mean, those are the talking points coming from the Leftie Central Committee, where it's "damn the truth; let's get Trump!" every day, all day.

February 19, 2017 at 10:26 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

What are you even talking about? I explained multiple times the security risk Flynn posed. The AG communicated the problem to the White House and they did....NOTHING...till it became public knowledge.

Grow up and stop acting stupid.

February 19, 2017 at 10:36 | Registered CommenterWinston

Chanting "talking points" does exactly zero to answer the question, which is a simple and devastating substantive one: what explains this behavior?

February 19, 2017 at 10:39 | Registered CommenterWinston

A "security risk" label from a fired leftist AG who wouldn't enforce the law doesn't mean shit. But rant on by all means...

February 19, 2017 at 12:30 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

I welcome an investigation. The security risks that would be identified are likely to include a raft of Obama administration people (and holdovers) who violated the law in attempts to derail Trump.

And just a point of order here; the only person in this discussion with a need to grow up is Winston, who immaturely continues to follow the mindless talking points du jour passed out in memo form from the DNC and George Soros. I hope Winston never changes. If he ever started thinking for himself, instead of being a dumbassed parrot for the left, it would be a severe shock to the system.

February 19, 2017 at 13:02 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

The left went crazy that FLOTUS would have the audacity to read The Lord's Prayer before the rally in Florida.. The NYT got petty and cheaply commented on "'Melanie's $600 shoes." So fu*king what. Trump bought them with his money..

February 19, 2017 at 14:41 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Oh. Well, then.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the traumatized people of Sweden, from which stunning news reports are still coming in indicating the death toll has risen to zero.

February 19, 2017 at 17:17 | Registered CommenterWinston

For some reason St. Louis' Foremost Lunatic is always trumpeting "the Left going crazy" over some insignificant nonsense only his ears can hear. It's one of his most well-trod routines. "The Left went crazy today over President Trump blowing his nose onto an American flag."

Mr. Lunatic has yet to explain why, if Gen. Flynn was no security risk, he nevertheless got shitcanned. Funny that.

February 19, 2017 at 19:53 | Registered CommenterWinston

"Mr. Lunatic has yet to explain why, if Gen. Flynn was no security risk, he nevertheless got shitcanned. Funny that."

Internet nobody wants his questioned answered dammit!!!

February 20, 2017 at 08:03 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Winnie's "question" is not a question at all, since the colossal dumbass already knows the full answer. He's just banging on, repeating the false agenda point of the leftie monkeywrenchers, hoping against hope that some gullible soul will be taken in.

I'd say to ignore Winnie entirely, but it's more fun to let him run on and on, making himself look more foolish with each additional post.

February 20, 2017 at 08:18 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Meanwhile, in the leftie fever swamp, the little darling of the left, Chelsea Clinton, has had to retract one of her lies about climate data "disappearing," while she is idiotically keeping alive the second lie about rapists being able to sue victims in Arkansas. When will the second retraction come? Let's ask Winnie what the Soros marching orders are that cover this matter.

February 20, 2017 at 08:34 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Well, chalk up a win for the filthy bastard Dems. Their shameful behavior in trying to block every Trump nomination should go down in the books as one of the worst examples of partisanship taking the place of honor.

Chuck Cooper has withdrawn from consideration as Solicitor General. His reasons are saddening, but understandable, given the corrupt nature of the Democrat Party today:

"I am deeply honored by any consideration that I may have received by Attorney General Sessions and President Trump for appointment as the Solicitor General, but I have asked them to discontinue any further consideration of me for that critically important position. After witnessing the treatment that my friend Jeff Sessions, a decent and honorable man who bears only good will and good cheer to everyone he meets, had to endure at the hands of a partisan opposition that will say anything and do anything to advance their political interests, I am unwilling to subject myself, my family, and my friends to such a process."

The Dem "leadership" must be patting themselves on the backs, having derailed yet another nomination for no reason other than spite and political gain. Scum.

February 20, 2017 at 10:16 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

St. Louis' Foremost Lunatic doubles down. Confederate Drama Queen joins hm.

As they tell it, the story goes like this: the Attorney General tells the "President" "your National Security Advisor lied to the Vice President. The Russians know it, so conceivably, they could blackmail him. You've been warned." The "President", knowing the AG to be a lying disloyal commie fabricator and a liberal who knows nothing of the law, who is just trying to cause trouble, does not believe her. After all, several days later he had to fire her for refusing to defend his executive order in court. (A unanimous federal appeals court later said she was quite right.)

Back to the warning: "President" keeps National Security Advisor on for another couple weeks, with total access to nations secrets, then abruptly fires him for no apparent reason except that the public has discovered the lie and the unfair media has been unfair.

That's their story. They keep insisting this is a non-story and shut up with yer talking points already. But that's their f*ing story. Has there ever been a more ridiculous wad of twaddle offered up as an answer to a simple f*ing question? "I didn't believe her, but then the lying fake media turned it into a whole thing, so he had to go."?

I say this even though my check from George Soros has bounced.

February 20, 2017 at 11:21 | Unregistered CommenterWinston

Judd Apatow Speaks-

1). When Trump was elected, Apatow said, he felt like “a person about to get raped, but I didn’t know how bad it would be.” Now that Trump is president, he added, “I feel like I’ve just been raped and I just don’t know if I’m going to get murdered.”

2). As for Melania, he said he “understands” why she’s staying away. “Every day she’s not in the White House is a day she’s not getting fucked by Donald Trump,” Apatow said. “Wouldn’t you stay away?”

Well, any holdouts that liberals are sick in the head and disgusting POS? I'm sure real survivors of rape attacks may disagree with Apatow. Two, the prior standard that First Ladies got some respect and were never attacked with language like Apatow used in office is gone. ANY comedian, entertainer or athlete who said what Apatow did about Melania to Michelle would have been fired and banished the same day. Not Apatow; his Hollywood projects keep getting made. Btw, I left off the attacks of Barron Trump in case you though Apatow has standards. It will be a good day when this scum is dead. This is why demwits are screwed. They've aligned themselves with degenerate shit heads and they can't distance themselves from it if they want to. Basically has a politically party your fucked... Good

February 20, 2017 at 11:53 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

...says the guy whose party is LITERALLY aligned with Klansmen and Nazis.

When are you going to get some therapy for this obsession with Hollywood celebrities? It's quite disabling. Maybe you could spend some of the time you waste reading supermarket tabloids on coming up with a more plausible explanation of why Flynn got inexplicably shutcanned.

February 20, 2017 at 13:40 | Registered CommenterWinston

Nazis and klansmen again? Geez, Winifred; do you never tire of proving your idiocy? Silly question. Of course you don't tire of that. You're the Energizer Bunny of assholery.

February 20, 2017 at 14:55 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

'Stamps feet why why does no one give a shit about my question...'

February 20, 2017 at 14:58 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

"Dozens of workers lose their jobs for participating in a Day Without Immigrants protest."

Well you F'd up when you trusted demwits. I'm sure demwits gave you assurances you wouldn't be fired or if you did they would find you a new job... LOL I guess showing up for work or missing work and not having a good excuse is still an American; well not for demwits...

February 20, 2017 at 15:05 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Well since Teabagger dismisses from one of Hollywood's biggest directors nasty misogynistic comments on Melania as "super market tabloids" I guess it's open season. Ever wonder if Barack really taps that nasty hooch of Michelle's? I'm thinking three day old fish.

February 20, 2017 at 15:08 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Tom, let's ask Winifred to explain the Attacking the First Lady Double Standard. I'm sure he has a memo from the DNC telling him what to say about that. I mean, without those memos to parrot mindlessly...... Polly wanna cracker?

February 20, 2017 at 15:41 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

"Hey, if the guy WASN'T a security risk, why fire him?"

"Sorry, we're far too busy clowning about celebrities."

February 20, 2017 at 20:10 | Registered CommenterWinston

"I didn't believe her, but then the lying fake media turned it into a whole thing, so he had to go."?

What a ridiculous wad of insulting crap, to expect anyone to believe that shit. You can't bother coming up something even remotely plausible?

February 20, 2017 at 22:37 | Registered CommenterWinston

Keep swinging, Winifred. One day you might even hit the ball, if only by accident.

You really have no idea how foolish you appear, regurgitating the phony Flynn talking point over and over again. No one believes you don't know exactly why he was fired, and under what circumstances. And everyone knows you're simply lying by omission in order to provoke people. It ain't working, because we're too busy laughing at your pathetic and transparent efforts. It's like watching a five-year-old throwing a fit because mommy won't give him another cookie. You are older than five, right?

February 21, 2017 at 07:46 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

That might be the longest version of "I have no answer" I've ever heard.

"Fake News Site Lets Liberals Live In Alternate Reality Where Hillary Is President, a satirical news site devoted to covering stories from an alternate universe where Hillary won last November’s election."

LOL... so this is where all the eunuchs hangout with the case of the sadzzz. What pathetic little low-life's... Put your VR headsets on demwits and dream away that Fat Hilda is POTUS and socialism rules the day... Oh' too funny..

February 21, 2017 at 08:13 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Red; the Washington Post identifies their sources for the leaked Flynn tapes as only intelligence officials. Well; based on the timing as it relates to how early we are in the Trump Admin. they know it was Obama appointees. They've also narrowed the scope down and it's rumored their focused on nine Obama people.. The WashPo won't give up their sources because the leakers could be prosecuted for breaking the Espionage Act. So as you said let's welcome an investigation. The rats jumping ship are Obama scum and it's healthy to flush them out and hopefully send them to prison...

February 21, 2017 at 08:28 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

"I didn't believe her, but when the lying fake media made it a whole thing, he had to go."

February 21, 2017 at 09:23 | Registered CommenterWinston

What fun we had at the 'Not My President' Presidents' Day protest.
The 'Progressives' really don't know what they're protesting. Fascism? Really. We played 'who said it' and they all FLUNKED.
Can't argue with idiots.

February 21, 2017 at 09:46 | Unregistered Commentergriswold3

Fascism's got far more to do with what you do than with what you say. You're well down that road when you stop even bothering to explain what you've done and concentrate instead on trying to jail whoever brought it to light.

February 21, 2017 at 10:32 | Registered CommenterWinston

Keep swinging, Winifred. Widen your stance a bit, and keep your left shoulder lower. Don't forget to follow through.

It's OK. Try it again.

February 21, 2017 at 11:33 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

“Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper,”

Who said it?

February 21, 2017 at 12:35 | Unregistered Commentergriswold3

Careful, Gris - you're gonna confuse Winifred. More than he already is, I mean.

February 21, 2017 at 12:50 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Uh, someone's confused all right but it ain't me. Jefferson's meaning was emphatically not "Disbelieve everything and slavishly follow demagogues.'

February 21, 2017 at 13:36 | Registered CommenterWinston

Keep trying, Winifred.

February 21, 2017 at 13:46 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

I guess if some six-year-old wanted to come up with a tiresome antic to shut down any substantive exchange at all, imagining himself to be an umpire might be right up there. It's a great substitute when sticking fingers in ears and singing "lalalalaIcanthearyou," is insufficiently childish.

February 21, 2017 at 14:44 | Registered CommenterWinston

CNN gets spanked again for fake news… It seems they made up statistics on a hospital in Florida that supposedly had an infant mortality rate three times the national average. The hospital said legally ‘bull shit, see you in court.’ CNN didn’t think they were serious but the hospital filed a defamation suit and CNN laughably tried to get it dismissed. The finding:

“The Court finds these allegations sufficient to establish that CNN was acting recklessly with regard to the accuracy of its report, i.e., with ‘actual malice,” the order reads.”

Get your check book out #VeryFakeNews this one is going to be expensive. Wolf may have to take a pay cut..

February 21, 2017 at 15:38 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

You do not want substantive exchange, Winston. Stop pretending you do.

If you ever do wish for substantive exchange, that will start with you not being an annoying git with a horrible attitude.

I have several close friends who are quite liberal, but who are decent people. We can disagree without malice and insult, and adjourn to a nearby saloon together. You should try that some day.

February 21, 2017 at 16:37 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Looks like Trump is about ready to reverse Obama's grossly overreaching executive order that commands local schools to allow boys to pee in the girls' restroom if they decide they want to do so. The federal government, and in particular the executive branch, has absolutely no business meddling in the affairs of local schools, as Obama did. This reversal will be a step toward correcting Obama's imperial presidency.

I see that the screamers at Occupy Democrats are already throwing a fit. Someone needs to tell them that nothing in Trump's order will stop a local school board from adopting the silly trans-bathroom rule, if they so desire. The lefties need to petition the local board. I'm sure they will have good luck in places like San Francisco.

February 21, 2017 at 16:56 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

No one could read the last weeks' exchanges and have any doubt who's trying to have a substantive exchange and who's behaving like a whiny six-year-old, Redbeard.

February 21, 2017 at 16:57 | Registered CommenterWinston

Gotta feel bad for the Subliterate Sage of St. Louis Lunacy. He just can't distinguish between an established fact and a contested allegation in a lawsuit which will survive a summary judgment motion, a rather low bar.

CNN may well get spanked and suffer a financial loss. We're a long way yet to that conclusion though. Say---isn't this the fella who promised a Trump v NYT lawsuit? Always wrong, never in doubt!

February 21, 2017 at 17:03 | Registered CommenterWinston

Well post-election Trump had bigger plans dumbass than suing the NYT; it was called being President-Elect. As for CNN your illiteracy or is it just ignorance also extends to law. CNN's best chance to stop this lawsuit is over and to put it in language you would understand "bitch slapped down" by the judge. So now yes it does get expensive with CNN likely trying to settle this out of court before it goes to depositions and trial. If it hits the courtroom you never know the publics "fondness" for CNN could run this into seven figures. I know Teabagger/Dumbass this has been a stew of high finance and big words like 'depositions' but we can't treat you like an ignorant fu*k forever...

February 21, 2017 at 18:40 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

"It seems they made up statistics" is a big jump from "a judge is going to give a hospital a chance to prove CNN made up statistics." That's a distinction even you should be able to understand. If only.

February 21, 2017 at 19:01 | Registered CommenterWinston

Winifred, if your nose were any farther up in the air, we could use it for mooring a blimp.

February 22, 2017 at 07:02 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Why was Flynn fired, Redbeard?

February 22, 2017 at 07:40 | Registered CommenterWinston

“While Judge Orinda Evans didn’t all out declare that CNN was peddling in falsehoods, she did take aim at the network in an initial judgment in favor of a former hospital CEO who sued CNN accusing them of purposely skewing statistics to reflect poorly on a West Palm Beach hospital. Judge Evans didn’t mince words in her 18-page order allowing the case to move forward, and dismissing CNN’s attempt to get it thrown out of court.”

Yeah, CNN has them right where they want em.’

February 22, 2017 at 08:15 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Of course, I didn't say CNN had them where they wanted them. I said the judge gave the plaintiff a chance to prove its claims. Surviving summary judgment is a milestone but it's quite a ways from the finish line. It's certainly very far from "gets spanked again for fake news" or "it seems they made up statistics."

Facts don't actually matter to the Psychotic Death Cult.

February 22, 2017 at 09:07 | Registered CommenterWinston

Asking a question over and over again, to which you very well know the answer, proves nothing but the fact that you are an asshole spoiling for a fight. Substantive discussion and you have nothing in common.

February 22, 2017 at 09:30 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Refusing over and over and over and over and over again to answer a simple question demonstrates conclusively that you have no answer.

February 22, 2017 at 09:34 | Registered CommenterWinston

Yes, I do refuse to play your stupid little kid's game by answering that question AGAIN, knowing that you know it's been answered multiple times. What you want, you colossal git, is a DIFFERENT answer. For that, you have my permission to go pound sand. Or perform an anatomically impossible act upon yourself. You choose.

Are you a shut-in, Winston? You certainly have an aura of a person with no social skills and no friends. If that's the case, I might actually have some sympathy for you. But if it's simply a matter of you purposely being the aforementioned colossal git.........

February 22, 2017 at 09:43 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

What was your answer?
This purports to be a thread about investigating Flynn. Your answer as to why, then, he was fired, is.....?
