It's looking more and more like the Space Coast (Cape Canaveral) is going to take a direct hit. Ugly.

I hope you and all our Florida friends and colleagues remain safe.

Skinndipinacid’s “voter fraud” story bugged me since it appeared. I couldn’t seem to find any description of the mechanics of how this “investigation” got started or how this “fraud” was supposed to work. Well, I finally did. Surprise! It seems to look like a voter intimidation racket.

First, note the story’s fifth paragraph.

the state appears to be seeking to criminalize a routine feature of voter registration drives, which inevitably involve submitting forms that contain imperfections. Varoga says that canvassers cannot choose to discard applications that appear to be incomplete or faulty; all such voter forms must be submitted to state elections offices. “If you’ve worked in an organized drive you know that you have to submit everything,” says Varoga, “even the forms that you think are problematic.”

Got that? Organizations running registration drives are PROHIBITED BY LAW from discarding or correcting problematic registrations. They MUST submit them to the state, warts and all. So what kinds of problems did the Indiana probe find?
. . . we found instances of totally fictitious information,” says Dave Bursten, [of] the Indiana State Police. “People that didn’t exist with addresses that didn’t exist. On others, real people have had their registration cards updated with incorrect information, which would potentially disenfranchise them

Got that? Anyone who ever voted knows someone who comes in telling the poll workers they live at a nonexistent address is not gonna be voting, because a valid address is the first identifier you need to provide. That’s how they look you up.

And real voters supplying incorrect information sounds like a mistake that—if anything—is going to create OBSTACLES or PREVENT you from casting a vote rather than facilitate it.

Meanwhile it looks like thirty days before a federal election the GOP-run SOS and state police are impounding or confiscating thousands of registration applications in nine counties (no assurance they’ll quickly release the valid ones for processing before election day).

It all sounds like a microcosm of the GOP’s “voter fraud” racket, doesn’t it? Find minor problems, and use them to deny the franchise to large numbers of valid voters.

The final irony? Indiana’s rates of voter registration and turnout are among the nation’s lowest.

By the way, most of this voter suppression shit loses in the courts. But even after losing, the GOP vote suppressors continue their disgraceful War on Voting. How else can unpopular policies and candidates win?

1). MSNBC reporter under fire for claiming Obama's Paris climate change agreement is designed to STOP storms like Matthew.

2). Hillary blames Hurricane on climate change.

Screwball lefties' definition of voter suppression: Any act, rule, or policy that aims at insuring that only eligible citizens can vote. Of course, lefties know they are LYING about this, but being sociopathic cretins, they aren't bothered in the slightest. Winning elections "by any means necessary" is the mantra.

Lefties are the most conniving, dishonest, un-American weasels to ever hit the political scene.

October 7, 2016 at 08:25 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Congratulations. You didn't address ONE SINGLE WORD of my post.

Confiscating and impounding thousands of pending (and presumptively valid) registration applications because you have found a very small number that appear inaccurate (many of which inaccuraces would actually BLOCK the registrants from voting) mere weeks before a contested election, has nothing whatsoever to do with insuring the integrity of the vote. ZEE-RO.

It's attempted disenfranchisement pure and simple. It's brazen and it's obvious.

But that's what conniving dishonest un-American weasels with unpopular polices and candidates must do. "Win by any means necesary."

****BUSTED-Hillary Planted Child Actor to Ask Question at Pathetic Little Town Hall Rally***

This was the teen-age girl asking the body shaming question that Fat Hilda started with her creepy clown cackle of laughter then said “what a great question!” Problem is the girl was a paid plant in the audience for Fat Hilda. Maybe the whole audience was paid plants? Fat Hilda can’t seem to fill a phone booth these days of supporters. When she does people hold up “Bill Clinton is a Rapist” signs. Not the optics $600 million pays for..

Anyway,.just more duplicitous bullshit from Fat Hilda..

Wait, Tom... you can't mean that Crooked Hillary is CROOKED! Say it ain't so! She seems like such a nice, sincere, caring individual, just like Napoleon the Pig.

October 7, 2016 at 10:31 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

I wonder why Winston never answers Hillary's question of why she isn't 50 points ahead. Given Winston's detailed and never-ending listing of The Donald's disqualifying faults, one might assume that he knows that the answer is that Hillary is a wicked, unlikable, dishonest witch.

October 7, 2016 at 10:43 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Is Obama actually demented? How else can we explain why he is blaming Republicans for the abject failure of Obamacommiecare? Sorry, Barry Boy, but this colossal cluster **** belongs ENTIRELY to you and the Democrat Party.

I can only assume that the petulant jerk has his panties in a wad because Republicans (who had nothing to do with creating Obamacommiecare) won't now obey him and come over to the Dark Side to help him make an even bigger mess out of the "Affordable" [snort] Care Act.

What an idiot.

October 7, 2016 at 15:13 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

The ACA was written to allow the executive branch to make any changes necessary without the Legislative Branch in order to keep the act intact. What happened to Obama's phone and pen?
ACA falling apart? We Told You So.

Fat Hilda awarded a $9 mil no bid contract while at State in 2012 to John Kerry's daughter. One can imagine the screams for a special prosecutor by demwits if this was a R administration. I guess a $9 mil no bid contracts to a Senators daughters doesn't meet the 'Scooter Libby Test' of outing CIA secretaries on the cover of fashion magazines..

Hot breaking news! Startling revelations! Donald Trump is [drum roll, please] vulgar asshole!

In other news [yawn - page 24, next to the washing machine ads] Bill Clinton is an actual serial abuser of women, and Hillary is still trying to ruin the lives of Bill's victims to protect him.

We all know which deal is more important. It's the one that CNN, The New York Times, and the Washington Post do NOT want to talk about.

October 8, 2016 at 06:16 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Hillary ABSOLUTELY MUST be stopped, but can't we PLEASE have someone other than Trump to do the job?

If Hillary gets in, I'm blaming more than Trump's big mouth, though. The RINO Republicans (in other words, Democrats Lite) created the Trump / Anti-establishment phenomenon, by utterly failing to do their jobs.

Every day I see another validation of my 1988 decision to rip up my Republican Party membership card.

October 8, 2016 at 06:51 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

To bad Melania Trump isn't a natural born U.S. citizen. She would now be competent to run for Senator of N.Y., Sec. of State and finally POTUS..

October 8, 2016 at 09:56 | Registered CommenterWinston

Trump fails in character. That's a given, and hardly new information. But Hillary fails in character, honesty, competence, statesmanship, and fiscal responsibility.

Sorry Winnie, but I would sooner vote for rotted tree stump than I would Hillary. She's about the only thing I can find that's worse than Trump.

October 8, 2016 at 13:14 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Republicans are rapidly going public with condemnations of Trump's vile misogynistic comments. Most significant is the condemnation of Trump coming from none other than his own vice-presidential running mate, Governor Mike Pence. But given that Pence is a decent guy and a strong family man, it's not hard to understand why he was outraged.

This is getting interesting, in a disturbing way.

I might put a PENCE FOR PRESIDENT sign in my front yard.

October 8, 2016 at 15:29 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Any other Presidential election with Trump vs. a demwit candidate and I would say drop out. Yet he's running against Fat Hilda who masterminded 'Bimbo Eruption' takedowns for her political benefit that included well placed "sources" in the media that all Bill's rapes and sexual assaults were just whores and sluts.. Stay in Trump. The left and media hate you so much why give in?

October 8, 2016 at 16:47 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

Oh' BTW and not lost on the Trump video/audio leak to counter this bombshell; pretty much everything Fat Hilda has said in every debate and campaign stop up to now on the economy, immigration, defense, social programs and law and order has been a big fat fucking lie. At least that's what to make of the emails that came out yesterday...

“Climate change scientist who said Arctic would be free of sea ice by last month eats humble pie as data show there's MORE there now than there was four years ago”

They know it. They revel in it. Normal people are repulsed.

October 9, 2016 at 09:19 | Registered CommenterWinston

Juanita Broderick relives the brutal Clinton rape in the video. Remember; the MSM could care less about real rapes. The word ‘pussy’ has them all riled up. Also, Fat Hilda wants this woman to shut up and go away but she once said “all rape victims need to be believed.” Now for her political convenience she has them destroyed..

October 9, 2016 at 09:21 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

More word salad from a moral black hole who is wrong about literally everything.

October 9, 2016 at 09:25 | Registered CommenterWinston

Winnie, here's a job for you. Defend Bill and Hillary's corrupt and immoral character, and do so mainly by ignoring the herd of elephants in the room. Oh, wait... you already do that, and do it remarkably well.

For a while there, I thought you actually believed the fantasy of the Clintons being golden children and Trump being the devil incarnate. But you're smart enough to know that we're dealing with two awful presidential candidates, and simply have to pick the one less objectionable. Why not be honest and admit that out loud?

October 9, 2016 at 09:46 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Character matters. You have none, none of the Nooshans do. Now we're about to see the Real Wingnuts' Walpurgisnacht.

Nooshans are irredeemably depraved.

Go to hell, Winston. It's your natural home, after all.

Take your heroes with you. You know the ones. Bill Clinton, the actual serial abuser of women. Hillary Clinton, the accomplice and slanderer of the women Bill abused. And on the way down, keep shouting about how Trump's vile words are so much worse than the actual vicious acts of depravity committed by your heroes. That way we'll know you are completely and permanently off your nut.

October 9, 2016 at 10:30 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

Why don't you depraved deplorables find a nice roaring fire to die in?

October 9, 2016 at 10:53 | Registered CommenterWinston

Nice, Winston. Keep it up. Don't stop now. Let's see just how far into madness you're willing to travel.

And while we're waiting, let us continue seeing you ignore the crimes of your putrid Clinton heroes, crimes far more severe than any of the vile talk coming from Trump. It's very telling of your fragile state of mind. Long live the leftie double standard!

Breaking news! The Paris agreement will STOP HURRICANES! Don't believe me? Here's the straight scoop from a totally unbiased and scientifically grounded reporter from NBC:

RON ALLEN: "Now, as a practical matter, it’s very interesting that this is happening a day when there’s a hurricane bearing down on the United States and in the Caribbean because these severe storms, beach erosions, intense weather episodes that we’ve had are perhaps the most practical example of what the president was talking about as the threat that the planet faces and this is what this whole climate agreement signed by 190 nations and now ratified by 60 or so is designed to stop."

Yippee! Obama is gonna SAVE US!!!!!

Trump said awful things about women. Republicans reacted with disgust, and calls for him to drop out.

Hillary said absolutely awful things about the women Bill abused, trying to slander them into silence. Democrats reacted with... crickets.

Character matters, as someone once said.

October 9, 2016 at 15:01 | Unregistered CommenterThomas Miller

I don't want him to leave, Tom. Remember the old adage, "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

Besides, it's highly entertaining watching a screwball leftie act like a screwball leftie, as in the case of Winnie refusing to even acknowledge any of the Clintons' vile actions. Lousy character on the part of the Clintons, and lousy character on the part of their whitewashing defenders.

October 9, 2016 at 15:14 | Unregistered CommenterRedBeard

There's no greater thrill than having an illiterate dumbass the size of Thomas Miller, accuse you of being a dumbass and illiterate. Seriously.

Has this Sadsack Know-It-All *ever* been correct about ANYthing in his entire sorry life?

I see that New York Times lawsuit making its way through the courts.

October 9, 2016 at 17:36 | Registered CommenterWinston

HaHa yourself, asshole. I'm not a Republican, and haven't been since 1988. I'm an American patriot and a constitutional conservative, with no party membership at all. But you know that already.

Today's R party is a shitbox full of losers, cowardly namby-pambies, shameless nest-featherers, liberal lying jerks, and perhaps, on a good day, a handful of decent Americans, grossly outnumbered. If the party falls, it will be an improvement, like cleaning up a toxic waste dump.
