The Democrats' Version of a Crisis Manager

Apparently that's what John Podesta is to these folks.   I just see him as yet another caricature in the ongoing collection of White House caricatures.

Now it seems this "crisis manager" is facing a bit of hot water of his own

Note to Dems:  If the crisis is a fire, you don't pour more gas on the fire, but it's no shocker here that this is exactly what you get from a handpicked Obama administration official.   Hopefully Podesta never mans a suicide hotline.

Podesta, whose official mandate includes enforcement of numerous executive orders on emissions and the environment, suggested as much when he spoke with me earlier this fall about Obama’s team. “They need to focus on executive action given that they are facing a second term against a cult worthy of Jonestown in charge of one of the houses of Congress,” he told me.

So they didn't really want a "crisis manager" or anybody capable of lessening a divide amongst the parties...  they're really just looking for another willing foot soldier to throw more mud from the White House trenches.   It's pretty clear they're just looking for a clean-up guy capabale of minimizing the impact of deserved slams against Obama by in turn smearing the opposition a la Clinton and the stained blue dress.

They didn't need a problem solver, they needed fresh propaganda, and apparently look to achieve that from a fossil named Podesta that considers Republicans the equivelent of a 70's communist cult (durp).

Skinny;

In one sense we get thug Alinsky types like Podesta and then on the other hand we get Pajama Boy; 'the pensive cocoa drinker wanting to discuss Obamacare.'

To be fair, he isn't talking about Republicans. He's talking about the Tea Party Caucus.

That's the 20%-30% or the Republcians house members that seem to be running the show.

If kwak were any stupider, he'd qualify for a handicapped placard.

Yeah. It's perfectly fine to equate the Tea Party to a socialist mass murderer if you hate them enough.

PS- I suppose Mr Corporate World is waiting for Teh Mocha Messiah to buy his slice of the shit sandwich, huh?

Hey, come on now. Give Barry a break. Every mob boss needs an enforcer. Podesta is just being a good little Paulie Walnuts.

I'm with Eric on this one... Fuck these people.

If you don't like the religious phrasing in Silent Night, don't sing it in the first place.

Podesta is a real piece of work, in the worst sort of way. His "rap sheet" is long, disgusting, and very telling as to why King Barry hired him.

This is PRECISELY the sort of damn-the-Constitution thug we need to eliminate from D.C.

Podesta must have read my post above, and then decided to hack BLRag yesterday afternoon. Looks like the internetty thingie gurus have repaired the damage.

The left feels the only place that religion has an appropriate place is in church. Therefore any reference to religion outside of church through verbal communication or symbols is declared offensive and counter to the First Amendment. Isn't it interesting that we get the bleeding heart bullshit from the left that the Constitution is a "living-breathing" document that needs to evolve but when it comes to religion they want the strictest interpretation possible of the First Amendment as it relates to religion??? This is how we lose 80 year old crosses on military cemeteries in San Diego that have been beloved by Californians for decades because a few people find the cross offensive. This is how scenes of Jesus in the manger on public property are pulled down because witches who worship the devil demand equal space next to Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

I agree, FUCK THESE PEOPLE.

Well Barry is off later on today to Hawaii for a seventeen day holiday break ( I don't dare call it a Christmas break.) Yes that's right, seventeen days. The media says "the haters" are denying him his right to go 'home.' It's seems Obama lived in a lot of places. How come he never goes 'home' to Chicago for Christmas? Or maybe just flies to Miami or The Keys for Christmas? (Oops there I go again.) It would save millions and millions of dollars if he did but hey' WTF it's not his money; he's just exercising his perceived liberal God given right to spend other people's money...

The "homeless" presidents, like Clinton and Obama, are disturbing. Without roots, everything becomes temporary. When was the last time Barry slept in his Chicago digs?

At least Reagan, Bush 41 and Bush 43 had real homes, and they used them. That has to help a person keep a grip on reality.
