Despite the recent troubles at our embassies in Libya, Egypt and elsewhere, our first lady insists that the real national security threat to our country is obesity*. Go figure. And President Obama wonders why the first lady doesn't draw a salary?

At the tail end of the CNBC story it mentions that Moody's, Fitch, and Standard & Poor's all show a negative outlook for the U.S. Hooray! It's sorta like a clean sweep! A four-peat, in basketball terms that the president can understand.
And more shameful news arrives. Seems that the Islamists at CAIR, the Muslim front group for Hamas, and unindicted co-conspirators in a terror funding plot, have asked Al "Tawana" Sharpton to deliver the keynote address at their big meeting this month.

Just watched the "Innocence of Muslims" over at youtube. If I didn't know better I'd swear it was a Mel Brooks/bill maher production. Desert scenes have reverberations like their talking in a tiled bathroom. Too funny. Replace Muhammad with Jesus and I'd be offended by it. But I wouldn't go looking to kill anyone or burn the flag of their country. But then, ignorance is what it is.

In the vein of the Keystone cops Hillary is trying to tell us that a 15 minute movie on You Tube caused the coordinated military attack on a secret safe house in Libya with RPG's, machine guns, mortars and grenade launchers? Really? Are there any honest dems out there who are willing to call bull**** on this?
Well really t.m., who DOESN'T carry a mortar base (that requires 4 men to move) and a few cases of mortar shells around with them, not to mention the launchers, guns and ammo... when protesting a "movie" on the fly... on 9/11.... in multiple countries... when warnings were issued of possible violence... uh, did I mention on 9/11 already?
Oh, but it's not Obama's fault (just ask the Obama fanboys at the Daily Beast, who claim it all happened so fast, and it was so chaotic, and crazy, and... how could ANYBODY see this coming? ), or the fault of Hillary Clinton (who they've perched up more to deflect criticism from Obama at this point).... or any fault of a serious security collapse. Of course not, not when it could so obviously be the fault of that clueless plutocrat Mitt Romney who rushes in and criticizes the inaction of our president, or something. It's not like Mitt Romney is a foreign policy "expert" like our great and wise leader Obama. We should do what he says... apologize... that'll win over the terrorists. If that fails, we could always try bowing.
Oh, and new policy... whenever our guys/gals get tortured, RAPED then murdered by terrorists... we should apologize for any hurt feelings? Aww, shucks... they died before you could get one off and now you have blue balls... we're sorry about that... send us the PO Box to where we can send some aid and we'll make it up to ya'.
(Last I checked people got beheaded for rape in Islam... So maybe some bombing runs aimed at the Muslim Brotherhood would be doing all of Islam a favor.)

Choy/Brent is not quoting Romney, but rather quoting the leftie echo chamber voices who put pejorative words into Romney's mouth. The real thrust of what Romney actually said is nothing more, or less, than the truth, that nearly half the country pays no income tax, that Obama starts out with a huge base of voters who are dependent upon government checks, that the entitlement mentality works hugely in Obama's favor, and that to win, Romney needs the independent vote.
Romney only stated the obvious. Would any leftist care to disagree with the facts? Lefties should cheer Romney's words, since they indicate just how successful the left has been in warping society's view of self-reliance and creating the massive entitlement voting bloc that Obama enjoys.
