Olympic Open

Well, no, I have not been following them, and could frankly care less about the Games of the 30th Olympiad,  but I suppose some of you may be enthusiastic about them,  so here is an open thread to talk about the events (or anything else for that matter).

Have a nice weekend and post what you like.

"In fact Obama's job approval is remaining steady"

It's below 50% in 38 states even using the oh' so dem freindly "registered voter!" Plus, Obama has thrown North of $100 million in negative advertising (not including three times that in free MSM attacks) to make Romeny look bad so Barry would look better and the needle hasn't moved. As they say, "the cake is baked" and it doesn't look good for Obama.

One thing the polls can't measure very accurately is voter enthusiasm. Seems that The One has lost his mystical rainbows and unicorns appeal, and the excited crowds of young skulls full of mush who bought the Obama hype in 2008 have gone into ho-hum mode in 2012. On the other hand, 4 years of this Obama crap is enough to bring more Romney voters to the voting booth. Enthusiasm might just have switched sides.

What do you mean; young kids who can't find jobs and are now living at home with mom & dad would never blame Obama for the "Hope and Change" they heard in 2008!!

Tom Miller thinks the President didn't really go to Columbia University. It was all an elaborate fraud.

Who are these wingnuts?

More Olympic stories.

I was really pulling for this Ellis Coleman kid. He didn't win, but he has come so very far.

Caught young Ellis' story during the Olympic Trials. Just love his "Flying Squirrel" move. I posted it once a while back, you can look it up on YouTube.

A person, within limits, becomes the sum of all of the actions he decides to take. This young man made lots of positive decisions in order to make it to where he is today, kudos to him.
