Is the NRSC Proud of Itself?

During the last election campaign, the brain trust at the National Republican Senatorial Committee decided to support liberal Charlie Crist (he of the Oompa-Loompa fake suntan) over the now-Senator Marco Rubio. Crist has never held a philosophy in tune with the Republican Party, but is rather a political opportunist with liberal leanings.
Even as Crist was publicly revealing his rudderless philosophy, threatening to run for Senate as an independent because he couldn't beat Rubio in the primary, the NRSC stuck with him.
After he lost, Crist supposedly left politics to peddle lawsuits on TV. But now, he's back. Word is that Orange Charlie will speak at the Democrat convention, and endorse Obama. This, of course, makes perfect sense, since the lawsuit industry and Democrats go together like peanut butter and jelly.
NRSC, are you proud?
