US Border Agents Taught to "Run Away" and "Hide" When Encountering Shooters

If you think that's bad, you need to read on and see what the government is suggesting border agents do to protect themselves and their fellow citizens if a shooter becomes "aggressive".

In another nauseating series of "Virtual Learning Center" brainwashing courses that Border Patrol agents are forced to sit behind a computer for hours and endure, we are now taught in an "Active Shooter" course that if we encounter a shooter in a public place we are to "run away" and "hide". If we are cornered by such a shooter we are to (only as a last resort) become "aggressive" and "throw things" at him or her. We are then advised to "call law enforcement" and wait for their arrival (presumably, while more innocent victims are slaughtered). Shooting incidents cited in the course are Columbine, the Giffords shooting and the Virginia Tech shooting.
Doesn't it feel great to see that the U.S. Government under the current Obama Administration is taking border security and the safety of both their agents and citizens so seriously?
Does this even make sense to you liberals?
The number of dead and injured in all 3 of the above mentioned "run and hide" examples could have been greatly minimized by one thing... a firearm. It's hard for me to rationally believe, "gee... if only there had been more shoes thrown at Columbine H.S., if only there were bigger rocks to be found on the sidewalks in Tucson, if only an entire regiment could hide beind some bushes."
You know what would have put a stop to all of the shooters mentioned above best? Other trained shooters with a half-ounce of common sense, an element that is so rare in Washington DC that nonsense like this is actually studied, applauded and implemented on a national scale.
Seriously... whoever dreamed up this lesson should be given an award for stupidity.

Whoever thinks getting more guns into high schools is a recipe for anything but unmitigated disaster should get a Lifetime Stupidity Award. Get a grip, skinnydip.
The problem with so many of you liberals is that they view responsible gun owners as bumbling idiots with firearms (probably clinging to their bible and praying to Jesus to help them shoot straight), as if they'd simply walk around with weapons loaded, unlocked, clip in the chamber, etc. Is it this kind of thinking that leads to the feelings of so many of you wishing and/or willing to piss on the 2nd amendment?
When I was in high school, we had a rifle range in the school basement, and a faculty advisor to supervise us. Oddly enough, inexplicable by the fevered brains of leftist crackpots like Winston, this proliferation of weaponry did not result in anyone getting shot, even though we were allowed to carry our own rifles into the school and back out again.
What's different today? Leftist rot, that's what. The great fool LBJ's grotesquely misnamed "Great Society" was the catalyst for the rapid decline of the very society he thought he was helping. Typical leftist idiocy, with the usual unintended consequences, leaving us where we are today.
Stop societal decay; banish leftism.
