Say It Ain't So, Joe!

Ol' Joe, 'gaffe a minute,' Biden has done it yet again.

Today, the Veep, prone to repeatedly putting his foot in his mouth, had this to say on the Senate floor.

"He has been one of the leading legal scholars," Biden said of Franken today, according to the pool report. He also said that Franken "is deadly serious" as a senator. He made the comments while recalling concerns that then-candidate Franken could not be taken seriously as a Senate candidate given his SNL work.

Seeing that Franken is mostly famous, or maybe infamous, only as a bad comedian and tax cheat, I think Joe himself, may have missed his calling as an SNL cast member. 

Personally, I find him much more humorous than Al.

Biden doesn't have a limo; he travels to work in one of those little tiny circus clown cars. It's quite an accomplishment when he puts his foot in his mouth, considering the size of his big floppy shoes.

But actually, Biden may have arrived at a valid, if unintended, point. Comparing the relative wisdom of Biden and Franken, Franken might really be the better legal scholar. You know, in the same sense that stale bologna is better than a rotten egg.
