Michelle Obama: Think of the Children

Oh, brother.  The children need her husband.  McCain will harm the children.  Woe, despair, agony.

"I wish we had time to be divided. I wish we had time to be upset. To be angry. To be disappointed. I wish we did," Obama said. "Because if we had time for that, then things wouldn't be so bad right now. Instead, we're in a place where another four or eight years of the world as it is will devastate the life of some child."

I'm surprised Obama works up the will to step outside his front door...with things being so bad and all...

Why isn't Michelle being considered for V.P? Pimped by the MSM as tough, smart and compassionate to the poor. Come on messiah, I mean you've obviously had one V.P. candidate get kicked in the balls this morning so an opening is there.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Actually, Tom, Edwards took himself outta the Veep running about a month ago, but why would anyone expect you to know that? Look at your source of news.

On the upside, you do remain superbly informed about Bat Boy's Love Child's Miracle Diet.

Rosie;

V.P. candidates lie more about their interest in the position than Bill Clinton. So until a candidate is chosen, there all in the race especially a media-driven narcissist whore like Edwards. As for the source, I guess coming out of a hotel room at 2;40 a.m. with pictures (magazine version) where a single women and her baby are staying is just "speculation." LOL.

There's nothing left to say to someone who accepts the National Enquirer and Faux Noose as actual news sources, although it could account for why you're often so dramatically ill-informed.

Rosie;

If it's curtains for Fox News and the National Enquirer, get your butt over quick to DailyKos, Hillary Clinton's website and about 100 different newspaper on-line editions and blogs before there gone.

Hang in there and keep massaging your temples and say " Two America's" , "Two America's" say it ain't so Johnnie. Disregard those pics!

you know...
if she were HOT...
i'd kinda understand...
but...
John... REALLY!?

I'm kinda shocked he couldn't do better.
whoa...
hey...
wasn't that a slogan of his?
"We Can Do Better" (?)

Guys, guys, guys. If it's not in The New York Times, it didn't happen.

July 23, 2008 at 10:51 | Registered CommenterRedbeard

Guys, guys, guys, if it's in Weekly World News and embarrasses a Democrat, it definitely happened.

Speaking of the Obamas and children, remember that Barack told us all that his kids are off limits, and that putting them in the spotlight is bad. Except sometimes. Like when the Obamas think using the kids as campaign props will help, in which case we get things like a People Magazine cover story featuring, yes, the Obama kids.

Of course, the sad point is that, from education to child obesity to healthcare, our kids are in worse shape today than they were eight years ago, and that--if anyone actually discussed the issue instead of arbitrarily dismissing it with cheap shots--we might find out what the candidates think about it, and what role (if any) they see for the Federal government in those areas. It's a discussion we need to hold as part of the decision we're being asked to make.

OK, we now return to your bipartisan snarkfest. (laugh)
