Washington Post: Obama's Iraq Policy "Irrational."

Yes, the Washington Post said that, as a flock of pigs flew past the window.

More signs that the teflon is almost worn off.

I read this editorial and looked outside to see it snowing in July here in St. Louis. "Damm the facts" says the WashPo on poor Barack come lately to the surge success. Obama goes to Iraq to oppose the surge that's working and at home Americans are wondering why Nancy Pelosi is saying she won't open offshore drilling for oil on her watch as Speaker.
The ban has to be voted on for extension by September 30th. Let's see what kind of balls ole' Nance has to see if she can block Republicans and Democrats who want the ban overturned. Is David Obey going to continue to shut down hearing rather than allow ammendments to bills by Dems and Republicans to open offfshore drilling?

The Republicans probably don't deserve this divine providence of luck from the stupid dimwits. They should leverage this arrogance by the dimwits on oil for gains in the House and the Senate and get McCain in as President.

Hey, now, no more threadjacking, Thomas. I'll try to resist, too. (laugh)

Hey, the Post is as entitled to its opinion as anyone else. I will say, however, that I find it interesting that even as they criticize Obama's notion of a quick beginning to Iraq withdrawal, the government suddenly (ta da!) announces that we might just have 3 brigades out of Iraq by the end of the year.
