Who are you blaming, Bush for being Bush, or the interviewer for lobbing softballs?

The interviewer. It's unimaginable anyone could come up with a stupider set of "questions."

It reads like a parody.

Reporters are no longer journalists. I don't expect proper interviews. When a good one slips in to the usual run of glop that passes for journalism these days, it's a surprise.

Edward R. Murrow would not be pleased.
