Is there a point to this entry?
Apparently not one you can comprehend. Pity.
Speaking of guns, a gun shop in Traverse City, Michigan flew the American flag upside down after Obama's historic victory last week. According to Hampel's employee Rod Nyland-
Unfortunately, this is what happens when people get their information from a dishonest smear campaign run by the NRA.
So what is your point then Redbeard. Do spell it out for your weak minded friend here.
The point is, I'm buying a Ruger. Great guns... epecially when shooting skeet.
I've always wanted a Ruger Blackhawk in .44 Magnum. Why wait?
Christmas is coming... maybe we should buy each other one...
.. .. since my wife may not me as open to it.
"but honey... it's a gift! I CAN't take it back!!"
So this was only meant as a commercial for Ruger? Interesting. Did you at least get paid for your efforts to support Ruger?
I am relieved to hear that though. At first it seemed like you guys were subtly having a discussion about it being appropriate to celebrate the election of the first black President with the purchase of a rifle and extended round magazines. I sure glad that wasn't what you were talking about.
I knew that lefties would have trouble understanding this thread, but I didn't know how much trouble. Good grief.
Skinny, That sounds like a plan.
Nah, it's just a perpetuation of the "dem libruls gonna take away our guns" meme.
That would make sence but the actual link Redbeard lined to called it an "Inaugural Special". Since congresspeople and the like generally aren't termed as being 'inaugurated' into office, we can reasonably conclude that this special offer was directed at somebody special. And that somebody special didn't run on a platform of gun control, which would seem to either invalidate the 'libruls guns' arguement or make it seem rather silly.
If you two people want to believe that Obama is any friend of gun owners, feel free to be ill-informed.
Redbeard - Did you happen to miss the SCOTUS ruling a couple of months ago that delcared gun bans to be unconstitutional?
Oh, good. KwAwk is going to explain how that court decision works, and how it will stop Obama and a compliant leftist congress from infringing upon our rights.
This should be good. Popcorn, anyone?
I find it amazing that you just KNOW everything that's going to happen. If memory serves, you have (in the past) agreed that the Second Amendment is not unlimited. Having thus conceded to some degree of regulation, you now paint Ever-So-Evil (tm) scenes again and again. The problem is that government, like life, is rarely so Paint-by-Number. (tm)
I'm only going by what Obama has actually done and what he has proposed in his own words. Nothing needs to be invented.
I fully understand that this does not bother a leftist, ready and eager to surrender his rights to the collective, but it bothers the hell out of me.
